Victory Park
Victory Park is named after the outcome of World War One, with work beginning on the ground (an old ash tip) in 1919 and the Club moving in a year later after buying the land for £868.
Prior to 1920 the club played at three other venues; Dole Lane, Rangletts Recreation Ground and St Georges Park (for 15 years from 1905), the home of the now defunct Chorley St Georges FC.
The ground’s record attendance was set in 1923 when 9,000+ crammed in to witness an FA Cup tie between the Magpies and Darwen. A crowd of over 4,000 watched a FA Cup match against Accrington in 1945, shortly before the then wooden main stand was destroyed by fire.
Between 2015-2019 over 3,500 fans have packed into our 100-year-old home to watch the Magpies face off against Guiseley (playoffs), Altrincham (playoffs), Spennymoor (playoffs), Fleetwood (FA Cup) & Doncaster (FA Cup).

PARKING
With the limited parking at Victory Park reserved for players and officials, the most convenient place to park is in the town centre, where parking is generally FREE after 1pm on Saturdays and after 5pm on Tuesdays.
For those of you using public transport, Chorley train and bus stations are an easy ten minute walk away.
FOOD & DRINK
Unless the game you’re attending is segregated the social club is open to both home & away fans alike. Situated on the left of the main entrance after the Duke Street turnstiles, the bar provides a friendly pre and post-match atmosphere where you can enjoy a pint while watching live football on TV (subject to availability).
Drinks specials are available ahead of every game. As for food, The Magpies Nest serves a selection of hot and cold snacks, plus our famous butter pie. Why not try one with peas and gravy?
